Well if the perfect day exists, today was it! I was in London, my favourite place in the whole world and I was doing my favourite things. Travelling there were myself and Jaime, my daughter Sofia and her two Spanish friends, Sandra and Carmen.
On the way, we stopped off at Bicester Outlet Village where there are many outlet shops full of bargains. I always enjoy stopping for a quick drink and doing a spot of people watching. I am fascinated by people, and have always enjoyed sitting and watching the world go by. It’s actually a great way to relax.
Next we moved on to one of London’s biggest shopping centres, it was mainly so that we could leave the car here and then travel by tube into the city, but we ended up staying for quite a while as the girls were loving the shopping.
We arrived in London later in the day and immersed from the underground right in the middle of Oxford St, what a buzz! The girls did more shopping and Jaime and I took in another coffee and did a spot more people watching and then I had a wander and came across this fantastic little book about how to be confident. Its full of beautiful pictures and quotes which I will be sharing with you over the course of the next few blog posts.
We thought we had better show the girls some landmarks so we then caught the tube to Westminster to see Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament and The London Eye.
When we were walking to the restaurant for dinner I spotted this in a shop window “Do one thing a day that scares you”. This is a fantastic attitude to have and it will really allow you to grow and stretch your comfort zone.
I am now so looking forward to when Jaime and I go back to London next weekend for our wedding anniversary. Its really given me a taste of the excitement.
I hope you had an amazing day too whatever you were up to and I will see you again tomorrow.
