I love being in London!  I woke up this morning excited to be going for breakfast in the hotel.  There was such a fantastic choice, it was delicious!

After breakfast we decided that we would spend the day wandering around Chelsea and then go to our lunch booking at 4pm at the Chelsea Garden Restaurant. We walked to Chelsea from Piccadilly passing all the gorgeous regency terraces, one of these homes is definitely on my list of goals!

The high street in Chelsea (King’s Road) is amazing – full of quirky shops and cafes.  We stopped at one of them for a coffee and sat watching people go by for a while, I could have sat there all day long!

We had seen the Chelsea Garden Restaurant last year when we visited Chelsea and said that we would love to go there, so I made a booking online.  It is obviously very popular as you are allowed a two hour slot, which turned out to be plenty anyway.  From start to finish we were looked after so well and the food was amazing.  I had forgotten that when I had made the booking, they had asked if it was a special occasion and I had mentioned that it was our anniversary.  When they delivered the deserts to the table they bought us an additional special little desert to celebrate, it was such a lovely touch and I will always remember it.

The setting was beautiful too!

When I am in London, I imagine that I am already living there.  It is something that I really want to do in the future so pretending that it is happening now is one of the fastest ways to make it happen.  I read about it a few years ago in Jack Canfield’s book, How To Get From Where You Are From Where You Want To Be!  This is what Jack says…….

Imagine you have already achieved any goal you desire. What would it feel like? How would you be thinking?

This simple imagination exercise is something you can do right now to take you faster to the actual manifestation of that experience.

That’s because when you feel good about yourself, you begin to attract the people and events that empower you to achieve the exact success you imagined.”

I have used this process many times but the one that stands out in my mind is where I imagined that I was driving my Mini Cabriolet.  I used to open all the windows, have the music on full blast and pretend that I was holding the chunky leather steering wheel.  It worked because a few months down the line I was driving it for real!

What do you want to achieve?  What goals and ambitions do you have?  Start pretending right now that you already have them and it will bring you closer to the reality.

Act as if everything you desire is already here…treat yourself as if you already are what you’d like to become”       Wayne Dyer
