I have been out shopping yet again today, this time to the Trafford Centre in Manchester, with my mum, Sofia and her two Spanish friends. The girls wanted to go off by themselves so me and my mum had a leisurely wander around, it was lovely. Because of our last minute day out yesterday, I did have to take my laptop along today so that I could catch up with a few emails etc whilst we were sitting having a coffee.
When we got back, I did a bit of work on the home study course I am writing at the moment, A Success Formula For Shy People. I have been working on this for a while now and I’m really excited that very soon it will be complete.
My mission with this course is to encourage and inspire shy and anxious entrepreneurs all over the world to become confident and successful doing what they love. I will show people how to develop confidence and belief in themselves and what they are doing. I will show them how to embrace their shyness and how to work with their strengths, how to let go of what is holding them back so that they can accomplish their dreams and ambitions.
As a shy person myself, I know exactly how it feels to have a desire to be successful, but at the same time be frozen with fear because of shyness, anxiety, low self-esteem and lack of confidence. I discovered how to transform my life and I want others to experience this transformation too.
The course will be split into 4 modules, Confidence, Communication, Calling and Consciousness. All of these modules will include ideas and methods that I have personally used myself to transform my life.
Confidence – how to believe in yourself, accept yourself and step out of your comfort zone.
Communication – how to develop some simple people skills, create better posture, how to socialise.
Calling – how to pinpoint what you are good at, what you love to do, your reason why and how to set goals.
Consciousness – how to develop a success and wealth consciousness so that you can attract abundance into your life.
I strongly believe that shyness is a quality, not a flaw and that shy people have some excellent qualities to bring to the table in business. I also believe that shyness should be embraced and if people work with it rather than against it, success can definitely be achieved.
I have been studying success and personal development for 20 years and I am passionate about helping others who are in the position I was in; stuck, unhappy at work, fed up of being labelled the quiet one, always in fear of doing something wrong, never knowing what to say.
My aim is to help people to feel confident and comfortable in their own skin, give them confidence to pursue what they really want to do and give them freedom to be who they want to be and live a life they love.
I would love to know what particular issues with shyness or anxiety prove to be a challenge for you in your own life. Please comment or email me at adele@adeledecaso.com.
I hope you had a great day!
