Look what arrived! And on a Sunday too! I was so surprised when I opened the door to the delivery man today. I have been waiting for this to arrive for the last couple of days. I was very impressed when Amazon refunded me too because the book had gone on sale at a lower price following my pre-order. I ended up paying £9.99 instead of the original £12.12 that I had paid.
Although I love kindle books for the convenience of having all my books with me all of the time, I am really excited to be actually tucking into a real book this time.
I have been flicking through the pages and it’s full of amazing quotes, this one stood out to me straight away and it’s what I was talking about a couple of days ago;
“You’ll make a lot more progress doing little and often than waiting for hours of time to magically free up in your diary.”
I love the first quote that you see when you open the book too;

The whole idea of this book is to encourage people to realise that it is very possible to create a life free from a job and a boss and actually do something that you are interested in or even love. John explains how school actually trains us for a job, teaches us to expect to get a job and that anything we do for fun is only a hobby.
We are all capable of being entrepreneurial. You may not think it right now, but you are capable. You have something to share that no one else does. I will keep you updated with what I learn from the book as I go along, but one more quote before I move on;

The other exciting thing that happened today is that we have finalised the details for our stay in London in a few weeks time. For the last 3 years myself and Jaime have headed off to London to celebrate our anniversary. It has become a tradition to go to the theatre to see Les Miserables, our favourite musical. I am so excited!!! We are staying at a hotel that I stayed at a few months ago when I went to London to attend a workshop put on by one of my mentors Fabienne Frederickson. It was amazing and I am so looking forward to visiting again.
