Are you ready for a successful year?

Happy New Year! I hope you are having a great 2017 so far! I have been loving being at home for the Christmas period, we started the drive back from Spain on 21st December and arrived here on the 22nd, just enough time to put up the decorations, finalise the Christmas shopping and wrap all the presents! Christmas Day itself was lovely, a really relaxing time, it was a well earned rest for everyone really.  We have been extremely busy in Spain recently as our company have just launched over there.  The children have also been having a really busy time at school with lots of homework an...

30 Days In The Life Of A Shy Entrepreneur – Day 28

I am sitting in our hotel room at the moment writing this while Jaime is doing his stage walk ready for his presentation later on.  Because Jaime is speaking, we are staying at the Hyatt in Birmingham and it is beautiful.  I am so grateful to be staying in such luxury!      We had a great day yesterday, after Jaime's rehearsal we walked over to the shops and had a look at the new Grand Central Shopping Centre. Its amazing, all built around Birmingham New Street station. We went into Foyle's bookstore and had a browse.  I love bookshops, I went straight to the personal growth secti...

30 Days In The Life Of A Shy Entrepreneur – Day 9

Look what arrived!  And on a Sunday too!  I was so surprised when I opened the door to the delivery man today.  I have been waiting for this to arrive for the last couple of days.  I was very impressed when Amazon refunded me too because the book had gone on sale at a lower price following my pre-order.  I ended up paying £9.99 instead of the original £12.12 that I had paid. Although I love kindle books for the convenience of having all my books with me all of the time, I am really excited to be actually tucking into a real book this time. I have been flicking through the pages and i...

What inspired me to write my books and why they aren’t about overcoming shyness

In this post I want to talk about the books I have written and why I was inspired to write them. My first  book Shy People Can Be Successful Too! was written because  for as long as I can remember I had ..... -been tormented by low self esteem -always got tongue tied -never had the confidence to speak up -not had any self belief -been unhappy at work, so much so that I used to spend lunch times in the job centre! -been suffering with my shyness I was shy in lots of situations! When I discovered personal development, I realised that the things I didn't like about myself, mo...
